"Welcome to Hopeful Futures!"
My name is Patricia Kehren and I am the owner/founder of Hopeful
Futures. The mission of Hopeful Futures is to "plant seeds of
hope" that change is possible for everyone. I have seen many
times over the course of my career that "sometimes it takes
believing in someone before they believe in themselves." Hopeful
Futures strives to change one life at a time by providing the
support and the hope that is necessary to make change
possible.
Over the past 21 years, I have dedicated my life to helping to
improve the lives of others. During this time, I have been very
fortunate to have worked in a wide variety of clinical settings
that have included inpatient psychiatric care, outpatient mental
health, mobile mental health, WRAP services, psychiatric
rehabilitation, and case management services. Working in these
settings had given me knowledge and experience working with a
wide variety of mental health disorders and has given me a good
working knowledge of community and state resources. These
experiences have also shaped the way that I see healthcare and
what should be defined as good clinical care.
I obtained my Master's Degree in Professional Counseling. I hold
a license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state
of Pennsylvania, a license in the state of Florida as a Licensed
Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and a license in the state of
Ohio as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
Below is a list of the additional certifications that I have
obtained:
- Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC)
- Board-Certified Tele-Mental Health Provider (BC-TMH)
- Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP)
- Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP)
- Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGP)
- National Certified Counselor (NCC)
We look forward to accompanying you on your journey!
