  • The cost of the session depends on if an individual is paying out of pocket, using their insurance (copays/deductibles/coinsurance may apply), the total time of the session, and the type of session.
  •  We will not charge you beyond the contracted rate that we have agreed to accept with each insurance product. 

Please Remember To Check With Your Insurance Company To Determine What Out Of Pocket Expenses You Might Have Related To Copays, Deductibles, Coinsurance, Etc.


"Good Faith Estimates"

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.

"Appointments and Cancellations"

You are responsible for attending each appointment and agree to adhere to the following policy: If you cannot keep the scheduled appointment, you MUST notify us to cancel or reschedule the appointment 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. We will only wait 15 minutes for you to show for your scheduled appointment time and then we will mark the appointment as a canceled "No Show." If you cancel or reschedule more than twice during the course of treatment, we may re-evaluate your needs, desires, and motivations for treatment. We reserve the right to terminate the counseling relationship if more than 2 sessions are missed without proper notification. A cancellation fee of $50 will be charged for no shows or appointments canceled with a less than 24 hour notice [unless we both agree that you were unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control or if it is prohibited by contract with your payor]. 


"Payments"

Cash, personal checks, Square, and all major credit cards are acceptable for payment. There is a $50 fee for any returned checks. You may pay via your client portal at: https://hopefulfutures.secure-client-area.com/), which uses a variety of payment options. Receipts for all of your payments will be available via your client portal under your billing tab.
