"Types of Services Offered"

Initial Evaluation - Everyone receives an initial 60 minute session to evaluate their individual needs, discuss areas of concern and to determine the best treatment options. If psychotherapy is agreed upon, we will schedule weekly sessions at times that are agreed upon by both parties. As you progress in treatment, you may find that you do not need to meet as frequently.

Individual Therapy - Individual therapy sessions are typically between 45 and 60 minutes. During these sessions we focus on the individual's needs and their treatment plan goals.

Family Therapy - Family Therapy is sometimes needed when an individual's mental health starts to affect the family or the family stressors start to affect the individual. Family sessions are 45 minutes.

"Evaluation Period"

We normally conduct an evaluation period that will last 2 to 4 sessions. During this time, we can both decide if we are the best provider to provide the treatment that you need.

"Types of Sessions Offered"

In-Person Sessions

We offer face to face therapy sessions at our office location in the Greentree area of Pittsburgh at 651 Holiday Dr., Plaza 5, Suite#400, Pittsburgh, PA. 15220.

Video Sessions

We offer online video sessions using a secure "Client Portal." Video sessions can be a more convenient way of receiving therapy for some individuals. It can eliminate transportation hassles, parking problems, reduce expenses and reduce time constraints related to having a busy schedule.

Phone Sessions

We offer phone sessions for those individuals who are not able to do video or face to face sessions. Some individuals may have difficulty understanding the technology required to conduct video sessions, but they still want the convenience of remote therapy.

*If using an insurance product, it is important to check if they cover Video and Phone sessions because not all insurance products cover it, although many do. It is also important to confirm that your insurance company has not put restrictions on how you can receive these. Some insurance companies require you to use their tele-health platforms for coverage.

*Not everyone is appropriate for Video or Phone sessions so an individual assessment will need to be conducted.

*Florida residents please refer to the Florida Telehealth website for more information about tele-health in your state.  https://www.flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/
